FileTrail Integration with NetDocuments for Holistic Law Firm Information Governance

FileTrail Integration with NetDocuments for Holistic Law Firm Information Governance

FileTrail has announced its collaboration with NetDocuments, giving law firms access to a seamless and holistic information governance (IG) tool. Compliance with both IG policies and outside counsel guidelines (OCG) is an issue faced by law firms of all sizes, and this partnership has created a streamlined solution.

Users will now be able to see both physical and electronic records, as well as view policies, trend reports, and compliance data – all within one system. “Information governance is a main law firm challenge, so we are especially thrilled about this latest integration designed to help our shared clients reduce risk and save money while achieving their IG objectives,” said Leonard Johnson, NetDocuments SVP, Products and Partners.

This integration uses FileTrail’s GPS to automate management of all content in a firm’s NetDocuments system. According to FileTrail president Darrell Mervau, their goal in developing GPS “was to address the common challenge firms face of managing OCG as part of their overall IG efforts. Collaborating with NetDocuments allows us to achieve an integrated solution that maximizes the value of both our platforms for our shared clients.”
